Spring Plant Sale

It looks as if it won't be practical to hold an outside sale this year again, but plants will be available by private contact. David & Chris Frith (01883 343404) have a selection of peas, French beans, tomatoes, carrots, beetroot,

peppers, courgettes, onions and rocket.

Rienzie & Moyra Brohier (01883 342928) have chillies, kale, runner beans, tomatoes, courgettes, peppers, lettuce, parsley and basil.

For specific details please click here

And for chilli plants, please click here.

Please deal directly with the Friths and Brohiers.

Finding out about the Catholic Faith

Each Wednesday evening 8.00–8.45 there is an online group meeting to which all are welcome. If you are thinking of becoming a Catholic, or are already one and simply would like to know more, then this is the group for you. Please email roypeacheyuk@gmail.com for the log-in information.

For those who would like to go deeper, and also consider the Sunday readings, there is also the Journey of Faith group.

First Holy Communion

Because of the COVID pandemic, the children in Year 3 who should normally have made their Communion this summer have not been able to enrol for a course. They will be invited to enrol in September to begin preparation for reception in late Spring 2022. Because of the large numbers involved, this means that we are looking, going forward, to prepare Year 4 children for Communion in the future, rather than Year 3.  St Francis' School have been consulted and are supportive.

For this coming year, there will be a Parents Information and Enrolment session on Tuesday 21 September 2021 (Covid permitting); further information will be available in the summer. Children's preparation will take place on Saturdays, usually twice a month, one group in the late morning, the other in the early afternoon, to ensure other activities will clash only minimally. Dates will be made available nearer the time.
